NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (Feb. 19, 2020) - Builder 2nd Class Desirae Cleary, from Modesto, Calif., greets Capt. Michael Meno, commanding officer, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, during a visit to the Military Working Dog (MWD) facility project on Naval Station Rota, Spain, Feb. 14, 2020. This project serves to provide a safe and effective facility to house and train MWD's. NMCB 1 is forward-deployed to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 5th, 6th, and 7th Fleet areas of operation.
