Over 150 Soldiers from the 297th Inland Cargo Transfer Co., 553rd Field Feeding Co., and the 13th Expeditionary Sustainment Command Headquarters deployed to Poland from Fort Hood on Feb. 24, in support of DEFENDER-Europe 20, the U.S. Army Europe-led joint, multinational training exercise in central Europe. These Soldiers will join the more than one-hundred 13th ESC personnel already deployed and setting the theater now to ensure the agile flow of the 20,000 U.S. service-members deploying from the U.S. into and throughout theater for this series of exercises.
