This marks an significant milestone for Dawson, an explosive ordnance disposal team leader, with the 28th Ordnance Company (EOD), 192nd Ordnance Battalion (EOD), 52nd Ordnance Group (EOD), on his road to recovery since being shot in combat in July 2019 where he suffered nerve damage.
