200121-N-VP266-1033 RED SEA (Jan. 21, 2020) Retail Services Specialist Seaman Donald Ryder, assigned to amphibious dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51), fires an M240 machine gun while participating in a live-fire exercise aboard Oak Hill. Oak Hill, a part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and with the embarked 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
