BAUMHOLDER, Germany –Emmerson Buie Jr., special agent in charge of the Chicago field office, was the guest speaker at a Black History Month Observance hosted by 10th Army Air and Missile Command on Smith Barracks, Germany Feb. 18. Buie, a 4-year Army officer and Gulf War veteran said that when he thinks of freedom, he thinks of it as a great outward expression; of freedom as being a choice or an opinion. “A choice or an opinion is no more than a vote. That’s what this years Black History Month’s topic is. It’s the vote.”
