Airman 1st Class Humberto Perez, 4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron non-destructive inspector, uses a stationary mag unit process control with an AS5282 ring to establish a baseline to evaluate system effectiveness, Feb. 4, 2020, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. Perez performed this process in order to find the greatest sensitivity to determine whether or not the particle bath should be changed or if its best to keep the same magnetic particle bath.
