Chaplain Col. Rajmund Kopec, Command Chaplain of the U.S. Army Forces Command bestows an Order of St. Martin of Tours medal, the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps’ most prestigious award, to Chaplain Capt. Andrew Muilenburg, a native of Redmond, Washington, assigned to the 1-501st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Armored Division Combat Aviation Brigade. Muilenburg was recognized along with his teammates at Center Chapel One on Fort Bliss, Texas on Jan. 31 for their work on the Morale Assessment and Advisement Tool (MAAT), which aims to help commanders assess and improve quality of life and resilience in their units.
