Chief Hospital Corpsman Michael Couch, assigned to the Virginia-class fast-attack submarine USS Washington (SSN 787), embraces his daughter upon returning from deployment at Naval Station Norfolk, Feb. 11, 2020. “While it’s a good feeling to know we accomplished the mission at sea as ordered, I feel that accomplishment even more when I greet my family,” said Couch.
