High Park fires burn in the mountains near Poudre Canyon, Colo., engulfing thousands of acres of forestry. The blaze, which started June 9, was caused by a lightning strike, has torched more than 65,000 acres to date. The resources brought to bear on this massive wildfire include 41 hand crews, 132 fire engines, five dozers, 23 water tenders and overhead personnel. Air resources include 17 helicopters and four fixed wing aircraft used for fire suppressant.
