Jacob Skeels (tan shirt), Avenger team chief, B Battery, 5th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, grapples with his opponent during the heavyweight finals of the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Combatives Competition in April. Skeels had to forfeit the fight after injuring his knee during the first round; but has remained positive and looks forward to a speedy recovery in hopes of competing in the All Army tournament next year.
