Since its birth June 14, 1775 - more than a year before the signing of the Declaration of Independence - the United States Army has played a vital role in the growth and development of the nation. America's Army has fought in more than 183 campaigns, from the American Revolution to the current campaign in Afghanistan. Today, the Army stands ready to answer the nation's call and win.
