Chief Musician Mark Stout, leading chief petty officer of the U.S. 7th Fleet Band ensemble, Orient Express, teaches saxophone rhythms to a student from the Anglo-Chinese School during a band master class. The master class and following rock concert were part of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Malaysia 2012. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
