PORTSMOUTH, Va. (Jan. 30, 2020) – The Commandant of the Marine Corps Spouse Program visited Naval Medical Center Portsmouth's (NMCP) Substance Abuse and Rehabilitation Program and discussed art therapy on Jan. 30. This is a program used to present issues and concepts as well as discuss options and best practices to provide peer network support, encouragement and contributions to successful command tours. The program members visited NMCP’s Outpatient Mental Health Department, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the Healthcare Simulation and Bioskills Training Center (HSBTC).
