VALLEJO, Calif. - Army Sgt. 1st Class Matthew Knasick, 801st Engineer Co. re-positions wattle during repairs of the Mare Island Naval Cemetery, Jan. 28, 2020. Knasick has been working with his unit and training Soldiers to fill in a ravine that has been draining into the cemetery. The 801st Eng. Co. and the 322nd Engineer Company have been making improvements to the historical graveyard since August 2019 and December 2019 respectively, as participants in a Department of Defense innovative readiness training program.
