U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Dominic Chiaverotti defends the puck against a player from the Okinawa Kokutai team at the Sports World Southern Hills Ice Arena, Naha, Okinawa, Japan, Jan.18, 2020. The Sniperz team, primarily made up of U.S. service members and DOD personnel, regularly plays against the Okinawan Kokutai team to help them prepare for games against other Japanese prefectures. The Armed Forces Classic was hosted by Veterans Hockey United to showcase service members and raise awareness of the sport in Okinawa.
