HHomestead ARB, Fla.,(January 28, 2020)-Fox News correspondent Phil Keating, flew in a F-15 Eagle during a training flight to get a first-hand look at the North American Aerospace Defense Command's (NORAD) measures to help defend the skies during Super Bowl LIV. NORAD, Continental U.S. NORAD Region (CONR), and inter-agency partners will enforce the Federal Aviation Administration's Temporary Flight Restriction over Hard Rock stadium in Miami on Super Bowl Sunday.
The flight included intercept operations with a Civil Air Patrol Cessna 182 aircraft and in-flight refueling with a Tennessee Air National Guard KC-135 Stratotanker from the 134th Air Refueling Wing. The 125th Fighter Wing, Detachment 1 is an aerospace control alert-trained unit that is a part of the NORAD Enterprise.
