    Domincan Republic Naval officer Lt. j.g. Ramon Jorge practices the proper operation of a M2 .50 caliber machine gun with Staff Sgt. Caleb Bagwell today, aboard the U.S. Army's LCU Missionary Ridge, docked here, in preparation for a maritime gunnery exercise during Exercise Tradewinds 2012. Tradewinds is a multinational, interagency exercise designed to develop and sustain relationships that improve the capacity of U.S., Canadian, and 15 Caribbean partner nations' security forces to counter transnational crime and provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
