ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 27, 2020) Master-at-Arms 3rd Class Christina Gilbert, from Charleston, South Carolina, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) security department, operates the M240B machine gun during a live fire exercise on the ship's fantail. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
