Marine veteran John Raum, a Green resident, peers into the side of a Special Weapons and Tactics striker on display in Public Square June 15, during Marine Week Cleveland, which ends June 17. Cleveland police and Marines worked closely during Marine Week to ensure secure, safe environments for community members to explore the static displays and demonstrations. Crowds of people flocked to Public Square to catch a glimpse of military tactical vehicles and demonstrations. More than 750 Marines invaded the city of Cleveland for the weeklong military extravaganza. Marine Week served as an opportunity to show community members the diverse capabilities of the Corps in air, on land and at sea.
