ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 24, 2020) Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class Faith Pedroza, top, from Los Angeles, and Aviation Ordnanceman 2nd Class Shelby Sischo, from Safety Harbor, Florida, assigned to the "Tridents" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 9, perform the daily maintenance of the cartridge activation device on an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter in USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) hangar bay. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
