Captain Matthew F. Rutherford, commodore CTF-72, presents this year’s
Anti-Submarine Warfare trophy during a brief for Sea Dragon 2020. The
trophy goes to the Combat Aircrew (CAC) who is the most effective
during the anti-submarine warfare (ASW) portion of the exercise. Sea
Dragon is a multi-lateral ASW exercise that improves the
interoperability elements required to effectively and cohesively
respond to the defense of a regional contingency in the Indo-Pacific,
while continuing to build and strengthen relationships held between
