A large commercial or institutional building under construction during winter conditions, featuring concrete masonry unit (CMU) block walls with decorative horizontal banding and a partially completed flat/low-slope roof with exposed wood decking. Snow covers the ground and portions of the roof, while a worker in a high-visibility vest is visible on the rooftop. A silt fence (black erosion control barrier) runs along the foreground to manage stormwater runoff on the active construction site.

Work on five new battle simulations buildings in the 200 block is shown Jan. 7, 2020, at Fort McCoy, Wis. Contractor MDM Construction Supply of Rockford, Ill., is constructing the new buildings and related infrastructure. The projected completion date is September 2020. The Fort McCoy Directorate of Public Works is overseeing the work completion. The new simulations buildings, when completed, will be managed by the Fort McCoy Directorate of Plans, Mobility, Training and Security. (U.S. Army Photo by Scott T.
