    Senior Master Sgt. Emilio Hernandez, 100th Civil Engineer Squadron Operations flight superintendent, provides mentorship to 100th CES airmen. Hernandez was chosen as one of the U.S. Air Force's 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year 2012. His achievements include earning the Bronze Star Medal, after deploying to Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, and serving as the 777th Expeditionary Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force Squadron operations flight chief in 2011.
