Vice Adm. Daryl Caudle, Commander, U.S. Submarine Forces, conducted an all-hands call with Sailors from Commander, Submarine Squadron Six at Naval Station Norfolk, Jan. 16, 2020. During the all-hands call, Caudle emphasized the Submarine Force’s vital role in national security objectives, thanked them for their service, and challenged them to constantly improve. “We are meeting our peacetime obligations and are on the leading edge in readiness for high-end combat; however, today’s challenges demand that we make ourselves better,” said Caudle. “We must continuously develop and train Sailors and officers to become the next generation of leaders and submarine commanding officers. From the depths, we strike!” (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Alfred A. Coffield)
