Sgt. Marie Javelona, 40th Composite Supply Company, competes in the 77th Sustainment Brigade Soldier of the Quarter at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Jan. 7, 2020. In order to compete in the event, Soldiers are graded on their M16 weapons qualification score, APFT score, a written exam, a 4-mile ruck march, an essay and finally an appearance board at Battalion level. Whoever has the most points out of the 350 point maximum is the Soldier of the Quarter for the Battalion.
