Lance Cpl. Mitchell E. Flowers, combat camera production specialist from Headquarters and Service Battalion at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., and native of Tampa, Fla., works on the Marine Week Cleveland mural on the corner of East 55th Street and Carnegie Road in Cleveland June 13, 2012. For the past week, six Marines have worked roughly 12 hours a day to complete the mural before the unveiling June 15. The mural, which features icons of Cleveland, patriotism and the Corps, is another way Marines are giving back to the people of Cleveland during Marine Week. More than 750 Marines will be in Cleveland all week displaying Marine aircraft, vehicles and equipment, as well as interacting and sharing with the public the values and character of the Marine Corps.
