Cpl. Jacob Shafer, a transmission system operator with Bravo Company, Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, unloads ammunition before a live fire exercise at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 7, 2020. The Marines familiarized themselves with the M4, M16A4, and M27 weapons systems in preparation for an upcoming deployment of the Indo-Pacific region.
