PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. - A photo of the 2019 NORAD Tracks Santa 2019 buttons on Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado on December 24, 2019. NORAD has been tracking Santa since 1955 when a young child accidentally dialed the unlisted phone number of the Continental Air Defense Command Operations Center, believing she was calling Santa Claus after seeing a promotion in a local newspaper.
