U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Garrett Klawunn searches for improvised explosive devices during a reconnaissance patrol at Jungle Warfare Training Center, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 15, 2019. Marines with Bridge Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, conducted engineering reconnaissance patrols, defense positions and bridge construction in the jungle as part of an evaluation on their ability to efficiently move and defend through austere terrain and weather, while performing their individual military occupational specialties.
