191218-N-AJ005-1006 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Dec. 18, 2019) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) fires a Mark 45 5-inch gun during a live-fire exercise. McCampbell is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
