OKINAWA, Japan – Lt. Col. Rosanna M. Clemente, commander, 1st Battalion, 1st Air Defense Artillery, and Command Sgt. Maj. Melissa Calvo, 1-1 ADA senior enlisted advisor, attend the 15th Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force 5th Anniversary celebration at Camp Yaese June 29. The 15th AAR held an equipment display and demonstration followed by a reception hosting Soldiers, Marines, JGSDF members and Defense Association members. Clemente and Calvo represent the first female command team in Air Defense and continue to spearhead the defense of Japan in the Pacific Theater of operation while inspiring their Soldiers.
