Army Gen. Richard D. Clarke, commander, U.S. Special Operations Command, presents the 2018 Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School Distinguished Alumni Award to Mr. Ashraf A. Khasawneh, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at USSOCOM headquarters on MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., Dec. 16, 2019. Khasawneh was a 2017 graduate of NAVSCIATTS’ Strategic Leaders International Course. The award was first established in 2013, in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of NAVSCIATTS, as part of an overarching effort to maintain relationships with senior alumni and to recognize leaders whose efforts have helped strengthen and expand USSOCOM’s network of global partners. Specifically, the Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes the impacts and accomplishments of former NAVSCIATTS graduates who leverage the collaborative network of global partners to pursue and implement multinational and trans-regional solutions and relationships.
