Pvt. Joshua Lopez, a Coon Rapids, Minn., native and systems maintainer for Stryker fighting vehicles, wipes grease and oil from his hands while working on a Stryker June 4 at the National Training Center on Fort Irwin, Calif. Lopez is part of the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., and currently undergoing a month of preparation with the rest of the brigade for a tour to Afghanistan in the fall.
