U.S. Marine Pfc. Elias Wattier, and Cpl. Gabriel Drapeau, both with Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense Platoon, Headquarters Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, search for a chemical dispersing device during Exercise Habu Sentinel on Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 13, 2019. Exercise Habu Sentinel afforded CBRN response platoon the opportunity to conduct progressive responses based off of intelligence feedback from conditions on the battlefield. This training gave Marines valuable, real-life scenarios and promotes combat readiness. Drapeau is a native of Rochester, N.H., and Wattier is a native of Grand Bay, Ala.
