(Dec. 12, 2019) - Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Katie Cox, from Navy Public Affairs Support Element (NPASE) East earns her Naval Aircrew Warfare Specialist (NAWS) qualification from Capt. Ted Johnson during a ceremony at Helicopter Combat Squadron (HSC) Two on Dec. 12. Cox is the first NPASE Sailor to receive the NAWS qualification as a part of NPASE’s new expeditionary program to provide aircrew and dive capabilities to the Fleet.
