PLYMOUTH, England (Dec. 9, 2019) - The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) hosts an exercise planning meeting with Lt. Jaime Garat, assigned to the Spanish Navy’s 31st Surface Squadron, right, from Ferrol, Spain, Lt. Cmdr. Nick Heiliger, operations officer assigned to Commander Task Force 65, middle right, from Clove South Carolina, Lt. j.g. Rafael Guerra, assigned to the Spanish Navy’s 41st Escort Squadron, from El Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain, and Lt. Jason Schladt, operations officer aboard the Carney, from Powder Springs, Georgia, Dec. 9, 2019.
