A U.S. Army soldier wearing a maroon beret and ACU (Army Combat Uniform) is shaking hands with an elderly veteran holding a small American flag. The gathering appears to be a military commemoration or memorial event, likely related to airborne/paratrooper history given the maroon berets visible. A crowd of observers, including civilians and other military personnel, watches the interaction in an outdoor setting.

D-Day veteran, Fred Morgan, presents Spc. Manychanh Kittrath, 861st Quartermaster Unit, an authentic clicker at La Fiere battlefield, June 6. Morgan explained that the when you came up on another person on the battlefield, you'd click once, and they'd click back twice to let you know they were friendly. On June 6, Task Force 68 walked through the battle fields of La Fiere and learned about the heroic acts of the men who captured the bridge of La Fiere, ultimately allowing for the landings of the beaches of Normandy to succeed. Task Force 68, which is made up of paratroopers from U.S., Germany, France, Holland, and United Kingdom, is in Normandy, France to commemorate the 68th anniversary of D-Day.
