Brig. Gen. Timothy Connelly, Commanding General of the 9th Mission Support Command, hosted the Change of Stole ceremony for incoming Command Chaplain, Col. Charles Causey from outgoing Command Chaplain, Col. Charles “Chuck” E. Lynde on Oct. 28, 2019 at Fort Shafter Flats, Honolulu.
The Change of Stole ceremony is a tradition within the Chaplain Corps that signifies the outgoing Chaplain relinquishing their roles, tasks and responsibilities over to the incoming Chaplain.
