Each year Rothenburg creates a giant Advent calendar at city hall and invites Soldiers and families from USAG Ansbach to take part in the construction. During Rothenburg’s Reiterlesmarkt each evening, a numbered window is opened on the giant Advent calendar while music is provided by a traditional German brass band.
