Petty officer 3rd class Orestes Martinez, 22 from Miami, who is a corpsman with Headquarters Company, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, is surprised by a mock Improvised explosive device (IED). The patrol let the Marines practice their reactions to IEDs and was all part of the weeklong field training at Camp Talega.
