191115-N-QR336-1006 NARRA, Palawan (Nov. 15, 2019) Builder 1st Class Lance Aldrich, from Long Beach, Mississippi, deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s Detail Palawan, smooths concrete over newly placed concrete for Malatgao Elementary School’s septic system. U.S. Navy Seabees deployed with NMCB-5’s Detail Palawan are building a two-room school house in support of the Philippines department of education. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
