    Georgia Army National Guardsmen practiced firing the M249 machine gun from the standing position during the squad automatic weapons course at Fort Stewart, Ga. on Nov. 24, 2019. During the week-long course Guardsmen have qualified on the M249, conducted night-fire and practiced firing in the prone bi-pod supported, kneeling and standing positions.
