A U.S. Army soldier wearing ACU (Army Combat Uniform) and a combat helmet is gathering and bundling a green parachute after a landing in a grassy field near a small stream. The soldier appears to be recovering their parachute equipment post-jump, with suspension lines and canopy material draped over their body. A deployment bag sits on the ground nearby, and additional personnel are visible in the background.

Sgt. 1st Class Kyle Sessoms, 82nd Airborne Division, packs up his parachute after completing a jump onto La Fiere, France, June 3.
Sessoms is part of the Task Force 68, which is made up of paratroopers from U.S., Germany, France, Holland, and United Kingdom, re-enacted the D-Day airborne operation on the La Fiere fields near Ste. Mere Eglise, France, to commemorate the heroic acts of the WWII paratroopers who made the jump 68 years ago. After the jump, the task force marched into the town of Ste. Mere Eglise to the sounds of cheers from the locals. Task Force 68 is in Normandy, France, to commemorate the 68th anniversary of D-Day.
