U.S. Navy Sailors aboard the USS Germantown (LSD 42) prepare to offload a landing craft air cushion vehicle in Bay of Bengal on November 17, 2019. LCAC’s are used to transport troops, vehicles and equipment at high speeds. This was part of the Sea Phase of exercise Tiger TRIUMPH. The exercise is an opportunity for professional and cultural exchanges, teamwork, expanding common ground, learning, training and increasing friendship between the U.S. and Indian militaries.
