191120-N-JO245-1089 MANAMA, Bahrain (Nov. 20, 2019) Damage Controlman 1st Class Jamie Vacante briefs Sailors during shipboard firefighter training at the USS Riewald trainer onboard Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain. In coordination with the base fire department, instructors from Surface Warfare Officer School Command’s damage control mobile training team provided live-fire training to Sailors assigned to patrol craft and minesweepers at NSA Bahrain. NSA Bahrain enables the forward operations and responsiveness of U.S. and allied forces in support of Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central’s mission to provide services to the fleet, warfighter and family.
