A small canal on the north end of the Sioux City airport joins a very swollen Missouri river that is filled to capacity on the Iowa, Nebraska border in Dakota City, Nebraska as a U.S. Air Force KC-135 from the Iowa Air National Guard’s 185th Air Refueling Wing passes overhead on November 14, 2019. Runoff in the Missouri River basin above Sioux City is still at record levels late in the year. The Sioux City airport is home to the 185th Air Refueling Wing.
