    191113-N-TP832-1100 FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (Nov. 13, 2019) Construction Electrician 3rd Class Wenheng Zhao, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, fires a .50-caliber machine gun to defend an entry control point from a simulated enemy attack during NMCB-3’s field training exercise (FTX) at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif. The battalion is conducting Operation Bearing Duel FTX that prepares and tests the battalion’s ability to enter a hostile location, build assigned construction projects and defend against enemy attacks using realistic scenarios while being evaluated by Naval Construction Group 1.
