A U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker with the 28th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron out of Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, is enroute to refuel two U.S. Air Force B-1B Landers, Oct. 25, 2019. The bomber flew directly from its home station of Ellsworth Air Force Base, South Dakota, demonstrating the U.S. Air Force’s ability to rapidly deploy strategic bombers anywhere in the world. Exercising the ability to operate the bomber at expeditionary locations to deter adversaries and demonstrate the U.S. commitment to partners and allies in the region.
