Cpl. Malcolm Smith, embarkation and logistics specialist, Headquarters and Support Company, 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, Regimental Combat Team 5, ground guides a heavy equipment operator using a Kalmar Rough Terrain Container Handler at Forward Operating Base Hanson, May 25. The Kalmar is one of the only heavy equipment vehicles that can lift ISOs, which are 20-foot containers the Marine Corps uses to store gear and equipment.
