A white marble cross gravestone at an American military cemetery marks the burial site of Charles A. Meadows, a 2nd Lieutenant of the 852nd Bomb Squadron, 491st Bomb Group (Heavy), from New York, who died on July 13, 1944. The grave is adorned with both American and British flags along with a colorful arrangement of flowers, indicating a recent commemorative visit. The cemetery appears to be a well-maintained American World War II burial ground, likely in England, with a memorial building visible in the background.
